With the US presidential election around the corner, the outcome is sure to have significant implications for the global and US economies. The world is in a state of flux: Macron called early elections in France leading to a complicated governing situation; the UK Labor party is back in power after 14 years; the war rages on in Ukraine; Putin is strengthening ties with China whose links to the US are weakening; and the war in Gaza continues to be a source of instability and concern. We are fortunate to have Lauder Senior Global Fellow Mohamed El-Erian and Robert Koenigsberger ’93 back by popular demand to share their insights and predictions about what we can expect to see in the year ahead.
